R.R. Donnelley Expands Delivery Services With Purchase of Courier Advisory Group

R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co. announced that it has acquired Courier Advisory Group in Tampa, Florida, to expand its delivery services.

CAG operates 34 locations in the eastern and midwestern United States, providing scheduled and on-demand delivery of pharmaceutical and medical products, retail and optical goods and documents for banking firms.

“This transaction complements our March 2015 acquisition of United Express System and expands our offering in the growing last-mile delivery space,” Chuck Fattore, president of R.R. Donnelley Logistics, said in a statement on Oct. 21.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Chicago-based R.R. Donnelley & Sons announced in August that it would split into three separate publicly traded companies with its logistics services becoming part of a business unit that will focus on customized multichannel communications management.
