Ryder to Acquire Gordon Truck Leasing
Ryder System said late Wednesday it will acquire Philadelphia-based Gordon Truck Leasing. Terms were not disclosed.
Ryder said the deal is expected to be finalized later this month and is subject to customary closing conditions.
Ryder will acquire Gordon’s fleet of 430 full-service lease units, 45 rental units, 35 held-for-sale units and about 130 of Gordon’s customers in the Philadelphia area.
Ryder is ranked No. 5 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
