Ryder Offers Diesel Delivery Service
Ryder System Inc. has launched a new service to deliver diesel fuel to its customers that leverages its national fuel buying power.
“While we can’t control the price of [diesel] fuel, we are in position to offer pricing that is competitive for our customers and provide consistent availability of high-quality fuel,” Scott Perry, Ryder's vice president of supply management and global product management, said in a statement.
The mobile fueling service delivers fuel to customer fleets that are off-duty and domiciled at customer locations in the United States and Canada, according to Miami-based Ryder. It has 435 existing fueling locations and 6,400 fuel network partners.
“Ryder is one of the largest fleet purchasers of diesel fuel in the U.S., dispensing over 275 million gallons of fuel to thousands of customers across the U.S. and Canada each year,” Perry said.
Ryder Supply Chain Solutions ranks No. 13 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
