Ryder Reorganizes Operations
Ryder System said it will combine its two primary businesses — Ryder Transportation Services and Ryder Integrated Logistics — and create a separate captive finance subsidiary in an effort to improve client service and enhance the company’s long-term growth.
“We are making Ryder more responsive to its clients, as well as a stronger competitor,” said Gregory T. Swienton, Ryder’s chief operating officer.

Under the new structure, Ryder will provide a full range of services, from truck leasing to supply chain management, through a single, streamlined organization.
