The Technology and Maintenance Council, Transport Topics and Light & Medium Truck magazine — all units of American Trucking Associations — said they would hold Diesel Engine Emissions Summit II March 16 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

As with the June 10 program in Phoe-nix, organizers said the event would be a day-long series of discussion panels featuring executives of fleets, truck and component manufacturers, fuel and lubricant producers, regulators and others with a stake in the major changes coming to truck technology to comply with new

ederal emissions rules beginning in 2007. The summit will be held the same week TMC holds its annual meeting in Fort Lauderdale.
