Share the Road Drivers Visit N.Y. Motorcycle Rally
American Trucking Associations’ Share the Road safety program tractor-trailer rode into Lake George, N.Y., last week for a three-day safety demonstration to motorcycle riders.
The program’s truck drivers discussed highway safety tips on how trucks and motorcycles can safely share the road, said Elizabeth Barna, ATA’s vice president of strategic planning and outreach.
“This is our first event of this size” with motorcycle riders, and Share the Road drivers may attend the big annual motorcycle rally in Sturgis, S.D., in August, she said.
