The Simon Cos. Hires Rigby as CFO and COO
The Simon Cos. has hired Blake Rigby as chief financial officer and chief operating officer of its transportation, logistics and technology businesses.
Rigby will oversee operations at the company’s Onewaytrailers.com, Simon Transport and Transportation Data Source business units.
He previously held CFO, COO and corporate president responsibilities at firms specializing in various industries, including transportation and logistics, real estate and manufacturing.
“Blake brings a deep level of expertise and experience in finance and operations, and a proven track record of taking successful companies to the next level,” said Lyn Simon, president and owner of The Simon Cos., based in Salt Lake City.
Onewaytrailers.com offers an online platform where carriers, truck dealers and drayage, towing and construction companies can access semi-trailers for one-time, one-way moves.
Simon Transport is a provider of freight management and brokerage services.
Transportation Data Source provides motor carrier information services to shippers, third-party logistics providers and suppliers of products and services for asset-based carriers.
