Skyway Starts Freight, Logistics Units

Skyway Freight Systems has created two new business units, Charles Lounsberry, Skyway’s chief executive officer, announced.

One of the units, Expedited Transportation, will provide air and surface freight transportation. The other, Supply Chain Services, will offer management services in the fourth-party logistics market.

Craig Foster, formerly Skyway’s head of operations, will become general manager of Expedited Transportation.

Lounsberry will serve as acting general manager of the logistics unit.

Skyway is located in Watsonville, Calif.
