Snider Adds Mitchell 1 Repair Capabilities
Fleet services provider Snider Fleet Solutions added Mitchell 1 diagnostic and repair capabilities to its more than 80 locations in the South and Midwest.
Snider offers maintenance, mechanical service, 24/7 emergency roadside assistance and used truck buying and selling. Snider also has 11 Michelin retread facilities and 12 distribution centers.
Poway, Calif.-based Mitchell 1 operates the TruckSeries software suite that provides labor estimates, diagnostic trouble code procedures and information on repairs for medium- and heavy-duty vehicles.
“We want our technicians to have access to diagnostic and repair information so we can accurately diagnose and repair vehicles to get them back into service,” said Charlie Roach, Snider’s director of fleet services.
TruckSeries offers a one-stop comprehensive repair database for Class 4 through Class 8 trucks that includes scalable wiring diagrams and digital pictures. TruckSeries is integrated with Manager SE Truck Edition, a Mitchell 1 software that covers truck shop management.
