| Staff ReporterSoftware Exec: Automation Will Create Jobs
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Automation does not necessarily mean fewer jobs, said the head of a company selling software designed to shortcut scores of steps in the way third-party logistical companies do business.
“As these kinds of programs come into use, they will result in more jobs and higher paying jobs,” said Benjamin Gordon, founder and chief executive officer of 3Plex, based in Cambridge, Mass.
The third-party business is growing at a rate of 20% a year, said Gordon, “and there is plenty of room for continued growth.”
