Innovative Computing Corp. said a federal judge in Oklahoma City issued an injunction against Add On Systems restricting the company from using Innovative’s copyrighted software in its business.
According to Innovative officials, AOS copied the source code for the Innovative Enterprise Software program used by Parkway Transport, an Innovative customer, and allowed it to be installed by Roehl Transport, a company not licensed by Innovative.

Innovative provides operations software that helps trucking firms with dispatch, payroll and other office functions. AOS provides software support and modifications to systems installed by Innovative.
Judge Lee R. West ordered AOS to return all copies of the copyrighted software and templates containing any source code to Innovative, but allowed the company to create a backup copy of programs for the purpose of modifying programs for companies licensed by Innovative.
