St. George Logistics, which provides outsourced container freight station services and warehousing and distribution services, opened its ocean and air container freight station and specialized 3PL center in Medley, Fla., on May 23.
Dade County and city officials including Medley mayor Roberto Martell toured the 105,000-square-foot free-trade zone facility.
“Miami is becoming an important hub for St. George Logistics as we provide our customers with a comprehensive menu of import and export solutions, access to the industry’s fastest and most efficient intermodal transportation network, and industry-leading information technology,” St. George Logistics Executive Chairman Chris Jamroz, said.
“With 32 port and inland facilities totaling over 5 million square feet, a talented team of more than 1,100 logistics professionals and a national network of more than 80 partner facilities," CEO Hessel Verhage said, "the new Medley state-of-the-art facility increases our capabilities in outsourced CFS and leading position in value-added warehousing and related services."
