State Associations At Halfway Point In Affiliation Plans

One year into American Trucking Associations’ sweeping restructuring, a status check illuminates some of the progress — and difficulty — in redefining the relationship between one national and 50 state organizations in a federated system.

Most state associations feel the restructuring is proceeding at a pace proper to the size of the undertaking, but a few still think the effort is doomed. The remainder appear to be taking a wait-and-see attitude.
