Stella Environmental Expands Waste-Hauling Business in Southeast

Houston-based waste hauler Stella Environmental Holdings Inc. has acquired Rackleff Enterprises in Statesboro, Ga., to expand its business in the Southeast, its first move since being acquired in August by investment firm Hidden Harbor Capital Partners.

Financial terms weren’t disclosed.

Rackleff operates seven solid waste transfer stations and has a fleet of 36 tractors and 57 trailers.

“This acquisition strengthens our position in the transfer station management industry by expanding our reach and deepening our capabilities,” Stella Environmental CEO Wilfred Roth said. “Rackleff’s operational expertise and steadfast commitment to its customers align strongly with Stella’s core values, and its leadership position in the Southeast will help drive our continued growth.”

Kevin Rackleff said joining a larger company “will allow us to pursue additional growth opportunities and gain operational efficiencies while continuing to exceed our customers’ expectations.”
