Stemco Database Cross-References Replacement Part Numbers

Component supplier Stemco said it launched an online cross-reference platform customers can use to find its replacement part numbers.

The new online parts interchange tool allows users to simply enter a Stemco, original equipment manufacturer or competitive part number into the application's search bar. The system then returns a list of Stemco parts that may be used to replace the entered part, the company said.

“Stemco developed the new parts interchange tool to give our customers a simple and convenient way to search for Stemco replacement parts,” Chip Stuhr, Stemco director of marketing, said in a statement.

The tool features a keyword function and is available as a mobile app, Stuhr said.

Each result is listed with product measurements and specifications for added convenience, and will include product pictures in the near future, the company said.

Longview, Texaas-based Stemco manufactures commercial vehicle wheel end, braking and suspension components, as well as tire and mileage products. It is a division of the industrial conglomerate EnPro Industries Inc.
