Sunset Transportation Buys Snowland
St. Louis-based Sunset Transportation purchased Snowland Freight Services, adding Snowland’s branches in Green Bay, Wis., and St. Paul, Minn., to its four locations.
The two branches began operating under the Sunset Transportation name on Feb. 1, and are managed by Joe Leuman. Sunset has 25 agent offices.
Sunset is a privately held 3PL specializing in bid management and carrier procurement, route optimization and strategic modeling, integration and visibility, freight bill audit and payment, and key performance indicator compliance and reporting. Sunset was ranked among Inc. magazine’s 5,000 fastest-growing entrepreneurial companies with 2016 revenues of $90.9 million.
