Symbia Logistics Acquires iD Commerce + Logistics

Symbia Logistics, a Colorado-based warehousing and logistics company, has acquired third-party logistics firm iD Commerce + Logistics to expand its e-commerce fulfillment footprint, according to a Symbia statement.

This acquisition, Symbia’s fourth in the past 12 months, enables Symbia to more effectively provide economical shipping options for its clients throughout the Midwest and Northeast, the company said.

Chicago-based iD Commerce + Logistics was co-founded in 1998 by Dan Arriola, who will join Symbia’s executive team.



The iD Commerce + Logistics name, with its current workforce, will remain in place.

Symbia Logistics is a privately held business with warehouse facilities in the United States and Canada. The company has offered solutions and processes for logistics clients since 1989. Symbia Logistics provides facility-based supply chain support to a variety of industries, from sporting goods to chemical and aerospace. Symbia has headquarters in Edwards, Colo., and operates an executive office at its new e-commerce facility in Aurora, Colo. — Transport Topics
