The association announced in December that it is accepting proposals for researchers to conduct an analysis of the driver waiting time problem and to develop suggestions to solve it.

TCA plans to commission a study to identify companies that have succeeded in reducing waiting time and create a best practices sheet for other companies to learn from.

Proposals from researchers bidding to conduct the study are due to the association by Jan. 14 and will be evaluated on creativity, presentation, research plans and clarity. TCA will award a contract on the project by Jan. 25 and plans to have the report completed by May 15.
