Teletrac, McLeod Expand Partnership to Address Hours of Service
Fleet technology suppliers Teletrac Inc. and McLeod Software have expanded their product integration to help joint customers ensure compliance with driver hours-of-service regulations.
By connecting Teletrac’s Fleet Director hours-of-service platform with McLeod’s LoadMaster software, which manages dispatching and accounting, fleet managers can quickly review drivers’ HOS information and create federally compliant load assignments.
Through this expanded integration, dispatchers can view HOS driver log summaries sent from vehicles’ in-cab systems. Users also can cross-reference HOS statuses with job delivery times.
“This partnership helps businesses run a tight ship, generating larger profits while keeping their drivers in compliance,” Marco Encinas, a marketing and product manager at Teletrac, said in the Dec. 16 announcement.
