The Transportation Intermediaries Association, which represents the third-party logistics industry, moved into a new office June 27 in Alexandria, Va.
TIA relocated not far from its previous headquarters that was also in Alexandria.
“We are delighted by a fresh start in our new space,” CEO Anne Reinke said. “We are proud to work for and represent our members, many of whom have worked in their offices in person throughout the two years of COVID.”
TIA decided to make the move with its lease coming to an end because it wanted a slightly smaller space with conference facilities, something the previous building lacked.
The organization also hosted an event to show the new office to local members, associations and staff on June 28 — coinciding with National Logistics Day.
TIA also has worked to increase its presence on Capitol Hill.
Founded in 1978, TIA represents transportation intermediaries of all disciplines in domestic and international commerce, including shippers, carriers, government officials and international organizations.
