TMW Buys IDSC; Upgrades TruckMate Program

Transportation technology provider TMW Systems said Monday it acquired Integrated Support Decision Corporation, for an undisclosed sum.
IDSC makes of software for the trucking industry.

TMW said 21 of the Transport Topics 100 top for-hire trucking companies use IDSC, whose software works with all major dispatch and operations software platforms.

Separately, TMW also announced on Monday the release of TruckMate 8.0, its enterprise software system for trucking fleets and logistics providers.

TruckMate is a package of operations, dispatching and accounting software that provides tools such as logistics, less-than-load and dedicated carriers.

The new version builds on those functions and adds more than 4,000 enhancements, TMW said in a statement.
