Top Source, Flying J Strike Deal

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — Top Source Technologies and Flying J Inc. have struck a deal to promote the use of a new product that analyzes used oil.

Flying J, Salt Lake City, will purchase and market the MotorCheck On-Site Analyzer in up to 100 truck stop service centers across the country. The company will also work with Top Source to develop product enhancements and assist in the commercialization of the OSA–II product.

According to Top Source officials, the patented analyzer eliminates the need to send oil samples to a lab for analysis.

A new lower-priced model is now being marketed to the trucking industry as well as marine, quick lube service outlets, railroads, military and aircraft firms.

To finance additional development of the analyzer, Top Source officials recently announced plans to sell a division that produces overhead speaker systems and also completed a private sale of stock to a director of the company.

Top Source is a publicly owned company with stock traded on the American Stock Exchange under the symbol TPS.
