TransForce Acquires Drive360 Logistics
TransForce Inc., a Virginia-based recruiting and employment solutions provider specializing in quality commercial truck drivers, has acquired Drive360 Logistics, TransForce disclosed in a news release. Drive360 Logistics is a transportation recruitment firm, focusing on truck drivers and diesel mechanics in the United States and Canada, TransForce officials said.
Drive360 Logistics, based in Windermere, Fla., and Toronto, becomes the 12th acquisition for TransForce since 2013, as TransForce seeks to expand by purchasing recruiting and staffing firms. Drive360 Logistics offers additional logistics placements including trailer mechanics, tire mechanics, road service technicians, warehouse management, service writers, sales representatives, parts managers, parts counter personnel, store managers and logistics administrators.
TransForce, based in Alexandria, Va., was founded in 1991 and operates across North America. In December, TransForce acquired Hire Edge Logistics Personnel, a regional staffing agency for trucking industries in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. — Transport Topics
