TransForce Inc. said Friday its fourth-quarter profit slipped from a year ago, but its full-year profit jumped 51% as revenue rose to a record.
Fourth-quarter net income fell to C$36.1 million, or 37 cents per share, from C$41.7 million, or 41 cents, a year earlier. Adjusted net income rose 12% to C$37.8 million.
For the year, net income rose to C$154.2 million, or C$1.55 per share, from C$102.2 million, or C$1.06, per share. Adjusted net income rose 40% to C$143.9 million.
Fourth-quarter revenue rose 5.8% to C$778.4 million, driven mainly by acquisitions. Full-year revenue jumped 17% to a record C$3.1 billion.
