Transplace to Focus on Small, Mid-Sized Businesses

Transplace said it is broadening its focus on serving small and mid-sized businesses, which the company said could benefit from its logistics technology services.

Smaller and mid-sized businesses often supply to Transplace's larger customers, the company said.

This relationship could enable Transplace to offer smaller businesses services that are more closely tailored to the larger companies, Transplace said in a statement.

Transplace said it could also help smaller companies to negotiate better rates with carriers and to lower the costs of complying with supply chain requirements of the larger companies it also does business with.

Transplace, Dallas, is a non-asset based third-party logistics company that offers logistics technology and transportation management.
