Truck-Lite Acquires Lumitec

Truck-Lite Co., based in Falconer N.Y., has acquired Lumitec, a supplier of lighting for the marine industry, according to an April 17 press release.

Truck-Lite is a worldwide leader in heavy-duty and off-road lighting, telematics, engine protection, safety and visibility systems.

Lumitec, founded in 2007, supplies deck, underwater, interior, navigation and specialty lighting to more than 250 boats worldwide. It also offers a line of LED lighting for commercial vehicles.

Delray Beach, Fla.-based Lumitec has been named one of Inc. magazine’s fastest-growing private companies for seven consecutive years.
