UPS, Ryder Name Key Executives

UPS Inc. said Tuesday that Myron Gray will oversee its U.S. package operations in February, replacing Jim Winestock, who will retire.

Gray is currently head of UPS’ regional operations in Canada and Latin America and Winestock is a 40-year veteran of UPS, who has overseen U.S. package operations for the past four years.

In his new position, Gray, 51, will join UPS’ management committee, comprised of the company's 12 most top executives.

Separately, Ryder System Tuesday named Paul Tay as managing director of its Asia Pacific region operations, reporting directly to Ryder’s Supply Chain Solutions unit president John Williford.

Tay has more than 15 years of experience in both the contract and international supply chain management industry and was most recently vice president of consolidation for APL Logistics.

UPS is ranked No. 1 and Ryder is No. 5 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
