USA Truck Names New CEO
Truckload carrier USA Truck said it has appointed John Simone as the company’s new CEO, effective immediately.
Former CEO Cliff Beckham has returned to his previous role as the company’s chief financial officer, a post he held from 2002 to 2007.
Simone has more than 30 years of operational and management experience in the transportation industry with companies including UPS Inc., Ryder System and Greatwide Logistics. Most recently, he was CEO of LinkAmerica.
USA Truck, Van Buren, Ark., is ranked No. 49 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
