Wabash National Realigns Wood Flooring Operations
Trailer maker Wabash National Corp. said it has realigned its wood flooring operations as part of its Commercial Trailer Products reporting segment.
That business was previously positioned within the manufacturer’s Diversified Products Group.
“This strategic realignment is being implemented to leverage the critical relationship between our wood flooring operations and our van trailer business, its primary customer, within Commercial Trailer Products,” CEO Dick Giromini said in the Feb. 27 statement. “This revised organizational structure will help facilitate optimal decision making and ensure exceptional service for all of our customers."
Wabash, headquartered in Lafayette, Indiana, began reporting the new realignment with its 2014 financial results filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
