West Side Transport Boosts Driver Pay

West Side Transport will raise the starting pay for company drivers April 1, the second increase in the past five months for the Cedar Rapids, Iowa, truckload carrier.

The new pay schedule enables solo drivers to start as high as 37 cents a mile, with a cap of 39 cents a mile. A bonus plan can also add 2.5 cents a mile to a driver's pay, according to the company.
