WIT Association Names Paccar’s Lily Ley as 2021 Influential Woman

Paccar Vice President and Chief Information Officer Lily Ley was named the Women In Trucking Association’s 2021 Influential Woman in Trucking.

WIT and Freightliner presented the 11th annual award to Ley at the WIT Accelerate! Conference and Exposition in Dallas.

The finalists for the award included Eileen Dabrowski, director of learning, development and marketing at ReedTMS Logistics, and Amanda Schuier, chief operating officer at Quality Transport Co. The three finalists shared their stories about becoming female leaders in the trucking industry at a panel discussion during the conference.

“After our conference in 2020 was virtual, it was refreshing to host the event live and listen to these outstanding finalists share their inspirational stories with the audience,” said Ellen Voie, WIT president and CEO.

Ley leads the information technology division and the modernization of IT for the digital age. In addition to being an IT specialist, Ley is a member of the Master of Science in Information Systems board of advisers at the University of Washington, the executive sponsor for the Paccar Women’s Association and an advisory board member with SeattleCIO. Ley also earned an accolade of “2016 Washington Most Powerful and Influential Women” by the Washington Diversity Council.
