Subscriptions in Xatanet System Gain, Company Says

Transportation technology firm Xata Corp. said it lost $921,000 or 12 cents a share in its fiscal second quarter, compared with earning $19,000 or zero cents a year ago.

Net sales for the quarter ended March 31 dipped to $8.2 million from $8.4 million, the company said in a statement.

Revenue growth in its Xatanet system jumped 87% from a year ago, Xata said.

For the six-month period ended March 31, Xatanet subscriptions rose 7% to $15.9 million.
