Chattanooga, Tennessee-based Xpress Global Systems announced plans to begin expanding in several markets this year.
The first will be Miami, where the company is opening a 20,000-square-foot service center. The facility will service the lower region of the state, including the Florida Keys.
“Miami is the first of several expansion markets planned for XGS in 2018,” CEO Darrel Harris said. “We continue to optimize our network to provide more direct service for our customers. Our goal is to continue enhancing our service levels, with the reliability and claims free handling our floor-cover partners have come to expect.”
Xpress Global has 670 employees at 33 terminals. It provides transportation services for the floor-covering industry, delivering carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile and rugs.
