Xtra Lease Expands Texas Footprint with Austin-Area Branch

Xtra Lease is set to expand its footprint in Texas with a new branch opening near Austin in mid-October, bringing its trailer leasing services closer to the region’s growing industrial hubs.
Located north of Austin in Jarrell, Texas, the facility offers nearby access from Interstate 35 and will serve businesses in Greater Austin, Waco, Temple and College Station. The branch will provide dry vans, reefers and flatbeds, all equipped with efficiency features and trailer tracking.
“This is an exciting time for Xtra Lease and our customers in Central Texas,” said Tanner Metz, Region Vice President at Xtra Lease. “With this new branch, we are strategically positioned to better support our customers’ needs and contribute to the area’s impressive industrial and transportation growth. Austin is the perfect location for our expansion.”
The branch, which includes full-service maintenance, is designed to minimize downtime for customers and streamline operations. It will operate Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Based in St. Louis and owned by Berkshire Hathaway, Xtra Lease operates nearly 90,000 trailers across 50 locations nationwide.
