Eleanor Lamb started working as a staff reporter for Transport Topics in July 2017. She covers a variety of issues, including state and local government affairs, infrastructure funding and trucking research. Her work has taken her all over the country. Two favorite destinations are Kansas City, Mo., and Boulder City, Nev. She regularly appears on Transport Topics Radio.

Serving as the primary state reporter for Transport Topics, Eleanor frequently writes about how infrastructure projects and legislation affect transportation and trucking. For example, the Nevada assignment involved covering a new interstate highway meant to facilitate freight movement. Some of her other stories demand larger scales, such as her analysis of how voters across the country decided the fate of transportation ballot measures during the November 2018 elections.

Eleanor graduated from William and Mary in 2016 with a degree in English and History. When she’s not writing or chasing down sources, she’s exercising or eating ice cream.
