It’s now unclear whether Ohio will build any more of the federally funded charging stations, as President Donald Trump’s team has directed all states to halt new spending of the money.

The Ohio Turnpike is preparing to overhaul the way it calculates tolls starting this fall, which will help the turnpike’s finances but have varying effects on motorists’ wallets.

To help address ongoing nationwide supply chain issues, Gov. Mike DeWine on Nov. 23 reinstituted a pandemic-era order allowing trucks to carry an additional 10,000 pounds of freight over the normal 80,000-pound limit without needing a permit beforehand.
