Manac Inc., Canada’s largest semi-trailer manufacturer, completed the acquisition of Alutrec Inc., a manufacturer specializing in the design and production of aluminum semi-trailers.

ABS Remorques Inc., a Canadian manufacturer of live-bottom semi-trailers, announced that Manac Inc., the leading Canadian manufacturer of semi-trailers, has taken a minority stake in the company.

Publicly traded trailer maker Manac Inc. of Saint-Georges, Quebec, said a group of investors will take the company private, led by Marcel Dutil, the company’s founder.
