Dynamex’s Fiscal 1Q Earnings Decline

Logistics and delivery firm Dynamex Inc. said Thursday its fiscal first-quarter profit fell to $3 million, or 30 cents a share, from $4 million, or 39 cents, a year ago.

The national average price of regular gasoline plunged another 33 cents in the two weeks ended Friday, to $1.97 a gallon — the first time it has fallen under $2 in almost three years — according to the latest Lundberg Survey of filling stations released Sunday.
