CN Buys Midwest Rail Line

Canadian National Railway Co. has agreed to buy most of the Elgin, Joliet & Eastern Railway Co. from U.S. Steel Corp. for $300 million to add capacity and bypass Chicago-area congestion, Bloomberg reported.
