Expeditors’ 3Q Income Improves

Logistics firm Expeditors International of Washington said its third-quarter net income rose 15% to $85.5 million, or 39 cents a share, from $74.3 million, or 34 cents, a year ago.

Diesel’s national average pump price fell for the 14th time in 15 weeks, declining 19.4 cents to $3.288 a gallon, its lowest price since February, the Department of Energy said Monday.
