Truckload carrier Schneider National will close fuel and maintenance centers in Wisconsin and Ohio, eliminating some jobs and relocating some employees, the Green Bay (Wis.) Press-Gazette reported.

Logistics and delivery firm Dynamex Inc.’s fiscal fourth-quarter profit fell to $1.8 million, or 18 cents a share, from $4.6 million, or 45 cents, a year ago.

The national average price of diesel fuel will rise to $2.74 in the fourth quarter, from $2.62 in the third quarter, as the winter heating-fuel season begins and oil prices rise, the Department of Energy said Wednesday.

Logistics provider the Phoenix Group landed a construction logistics contract with the Mexican division of H.E.B. Grocery Co. of Houston that will more than double the size of its construction management division, Phoenix said.
