Echo Global Logistics has announced its acquisition of Trailer Transport Systems, an intermodal marketing company, to enhance Echo’s truck/rail service offerings.

Alisam Freight Management, a San Antonio logistics company, said it has acquired motor carrier Plains Transportation Inc., Amarillo, Texas, for an undisclosed sum.
