Rep. Rick Larsen (WA-02) serves his district by the motto, "Every day is infrastructure day." Practically, this means that every day should be spent thinking about what investment could be made into the community - into bridges, roads, broadband, jobs and more. The enactment of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law in September 2021 made available spending for local projects over the course of five years. In the 18 months since the bill was enacted, how have these projects progressed? What differences have these investments made in communities across the country? And how is Congress considering future transportation reform efforts like truck parking and electrification? Rep. Rick Larsen, Ranking Member of the House Transportation & Infrastructure committee, joins Eugene Mulero and Dan Ronan to share his perspective on local infrastructure revitalization projects and how investments benefit a safer transportation ecosystem.
