Amerit Fleet Solutions Partners With New Mountain Capital

Amerit Fleet Solutions announced Jan. 28 that it secured a majority investment from New Mountain Capital, positioning the fleet maintenance provider for nationwide expansion and improved service capabilities.
Founded in 2010, Amerit provides preventive maintenance and repair services for commercial fleets across the U.S. The company supports more than 300,000 customer assets in all 50 states with a team of more than 2,500 field technicians. The investment from New Mountain Capital is expected to help Amerit expand its footprint and enhance its service offerings.

Amein Punjani, co-founder and chief operating officer, said the investment will allow Amerit to improve operations and technology.

New Mountain Capital, a growth-focused investment firm with more than $55 billion in assets under management, said Amerit is well positioned for further expansion.
