Argo Tracker Develops GPS Tracking System for Cargo Location

ommunications hardware provider Argo Tracker said it has developed a new tracking system to help carriers prevent the theft of equipment and cargo traveling by air, land or sea.
Mike Hammons, Argo Tracker’s chief executive officer, said the system is aimed helping carriers and logistics companies improve supply chain security and productivity by continuously monitoring the location of cargo.
“This system is aimed at carriers looking to reduce the amount of shrinkage as shipments move from Point A to Point B,” Hammons told Transport topics. Shrinkage is loss in cargo value.
