Atlas Canada Names Fred Haladay President

Moving company Atlas Canada has named Fred Haladay to the post of president and chief operating officer.
Atlas Canada is a subsidiary of transportation and storage company Atlas World Group, which is comprised of various businesses that deliver transportation and related services globally through a network of agents and select service partners.
Haladay will oversee all business areas with the goal of driving the future direction of the van line, the company said in a November release. He will also be responsible for leveraging business synergies, establishing and adhering to all budgets, and collaborating with fellow company leaders.

“Fred has been a proven leader in consistently developing and executing successful client relations and quality initiatives that have been critical to our growth in Canada,” Jack Griffin, chairman and CEO of Atlas World Group, said in a statement. “We are excited for him to be at the helm and implement Atlas Canada’s strategic plan in the years to come.”
Haladay started working for the company as an agency services manager in the early 1990s. Most recently, he served as senior vice president and chief commercial officer. He is active in industry associations, including the Canadian Employee Relocation Council.
