Bestpass Offers Trailer Pay-by-Plate Solution
Bestpass Inc. announced a new trailer pay-by-plate solution to help trailer rental and leasing companies avoid costly and time-consuming violations. The solution also will facilitate the seamless management of incurred toll costs, including a built-in capability to rebill tolls to customers.
Rental and leasing companies that sign up for the Bestpass trailer-plate solution will be able to upload and manage a complete record of all of their trailer plates, as well as be able to rebill tolls from across the United States to their customers, thereby creating a solution that removes costs and accurately allocates toll expense, according to the Albany, N.Y.-based company.
“We designed this new trailer-plate solution, coupled with Bestpass Rebilling capability, to ensure that toll transactions are assigned to the right vehicle and company while also mitigating the impact and cost of violations and unmanaged toll,” Bestpass CEO John Andrews said.
Bestpass was founded in 2001 by the Trucking Association of New York. It provides nationwide streamlined toll management services, including consolidated billing, volume discounts, violation processing and a single service compatible with more than 40 tolling groups and all transponder-based weigh station bypass networks.
