Meanwhile, a survey of trucking executives by researchers at the University of Arkansas found that a lack of revenue miles is believed to be a main reason why drivers are leaving companies.
The University of Arkansas study, by professors John Delery and Nina Gupta, showed 81.9% of trucking executives cited a lack of miles as a key reason for drivers quitting.
