CVSA Names Steve Keppler Executive Director

The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance on Tuesday named Steve Keppler its executive director.

Keppler, who has been with CVSA since 2000, had been serving as interim executive director of the law enforcement group since the departure of previous director Stephen Campbell last year.

“This position serves a critical role in advancing the success of the Alliance by moving us forward in achieving our strategic goals and our mission to promote commercial motor vehicle safety and security by providing leadership to enforcement, industry and policy makers.” said CVSA President Buzzy France.

Keppler said in a statement that it has been “an extremely rewarding experience and great honor to lead an organization so committed to the critically important role of providing safe and secure roads to all travelers throughout North America.”

CVSA is a coalition of commercial vehicle law enforcement agencies in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
