DHL Group, the trading name of Deutsche Post AG, unveiled a new strategy aimed at increasing revenue by 50% by 2030 through various growth initiatives.

The German logistics company plans to shift its focus toward specialized delivery of scientific and new energy products, markets expected to outpace overall economic growth. DHL also intends to streamline its structure by establishing its e-commerce and postal businesses as independent legal entities.

The company will focus on “fast-growing” business areas, company CEO Tobias Meyer said in a statement.

Known for its global courier, parcel and express mail services, DHL Group has established itself as a key player in international trade and supply chain management. Over the past decade, the company has increasingly emphasized e-commerce and sustainable delivery solutions, capitalizing on the rising demand for online shopping and green logistics.

DHL’s strategy to target specialized logistics reflects broader trends in that industry, where companies are increasingly prioritizing niche markets like shipping time-sensitive medical items.

DHL Group ranks No. 4 on the Transport Topics Top 50 list of the largest global freight carriers. It ranks No. 14 on the TT 100 list of the largest logistics companies in North America.
